"The principal of our parish school is the pastor’s most important collaborator. I’m looking for someone who will not simply maintain the status quo, but who will partner with me, the priests from the Fraternity of St. Charles Borromeo, our faculty, and our families to shape the future of St. Peter’s with vision, energy, and love for our mission. This is a time for a bold and faithful new beginning, one that honors the great tradition of our school while leading us forward."
Fr. Zé
Leadership at St. Peter is marked by thoughtful discernment and collaborative decision-making under the guidance of Fr. Zé. Fr. Zé, a priest with the Fraternity of St. Charles Borromeo, is an experienced pastor and visionary leader who has worked with many parishes and organization, most recently the John Paul II National Shrine. Over the years Fr. Zé has lead a variety of parishes in Portugal and the United States and has led the construction of two churches during his career.
Known for his deliberate leadership style, Fr. Zé takes time to reflect before taking action, ensuring that decisions are made with wisdom and care. He is supported by a leadership team composed primarily of retired, highly accomplished executives, entrepreneurs, and business professionals with deep expertise in business and construction management, finance, development, marketing, and human resources. Together, they form a well-rounded and strategic leadership body bringing both spiritual and professional insight to the stewardship of the parish and school.
Our new principal will be an integral member of the parish leadership team and play an active role in shaping its bright future. The Church of St. Peter has been entrusted to the care of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Charles Borromeo since 2017. Unlike typical diocesan assignments, the Fraternity’s long-term commitment allows for continuity in leadership and the ability to implement meaningful, strategic improvements in mission and culture which will bring lasting stability to both the school and parish.
Rooted in the charism of Communion and Liberation and guided by a spirit of fraternity, our priests live in community and serve in close collaboration with one another. Their shared life and missionary zeal have enriched our liturgy, deepened faith formation, and provided the kind of consistent, priestly presence essential to building a vibrant and enduring Catholic school.
We are excited to welcome our next visionary school leader into a supportive and stable community of clergy dedicated to the success of our parish school.
